Rhyl is a very popular seaside town and there is plenty to do whatever the weather. The Suncentre is an indoor leisure swimming pool, featuring an indoor monorail, as well as Europe's first indoor surfing pool. The centre is just 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel, as is Rhyl’s SeaQuarium, an aquarium on the town’s seafront. Rhyl Children’s Village theme park houses a cinema, a soft play area, cafes, restaurants and rides for the children. The theme park is also close to the 250-foot-high Sky Tower, one of Rhyl's top attractions on the West Parade. If you aren’t afraid of heights, you can ride to the top of the tower, where a spectacular view awaits you. Children’s Village and the Sky Tower are only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel and the new Drift Park development on the promenade is also within easy reach. Directly opposite the hotel, the events arena hosts all kinds of travelling shows, including line dancing, marching bands and motorbike shows. The town’s crown bowling green is within 2 minutes’ walk of the hotel. Rhyl’s town centre is approximately 300 metres from the hotel. The town centre boasts a variety of restaurants including Indian, Italian and Chinese restaurants, as well as a Wetherspoons. There is also a wide variety of shops and some amusements. The hotel also makes a great base from which to explore further afield. The A55, a major route in North Wales, is within easy reach of the hotel and offers easy access to Llandudno, Conwy and Anglessey. Snowdonia National Park is within an hour’s drive. Chester is approximately 30 minutes’ drive away and Liverpool and Manchester are around one hour away. Rhyl also has a train station for those who wish to explore further afield. The train station is within 5 minutes’ walk of the hotel.
